Who We Are
Erin Ryan, Founder & Principal of Elevate Advocacy, brings more than a decade of experience in nonpartisan policy, coalition-building, and advocacy. She began her career in organizing and grassroots fundraising on political campaigns before tranisition to the nonprofit sector.
She has a track record of success in creating concrete impact and change for organizations and causes, including providing expert testimony more than 20 times in the Ohio Statehouse and serving as a key spokesperson in the media on issues impacting women, families, and children. She is an active member of her community, serving as the former board chair of Mental Health America of Ohio and participating in the YWCA Columbus Leadership for Social Change program.
Her interest in civic engagement began from a young age, growing up in a family where discussions on politics were encouraged at the dinner table. She is a lifelong Ohioan and currently lives in Central Ohio with her husband, daughter, and Ragamuffin rescue cat.
